GERHARD RØNNE'S RUNA IV 1918 - YAWL RUNA IV 1918

RUNA IV: LINES AND SAIL PLANS

As I explained last April, I’m working on the project of a large book dealing with the Danish building architect Gerhard Rønne (1879-1955) and the boats he designed in his spare time.

And, as usual, the book will be illustrated by the designs of all his yachts redrawn by my friend and long-standing partner François Chevalier.

François has already followed the refit of the gaff yawl RUNA IV (1918) – rebuilt by Chantier du Guip at Brest (France). He is also in charge to redraw the gaff cutter RUNA VI (1927) that will be refitted by the same boatyard. RUNA VI should be re-launched next year. Both yachts are under Yves Carcelle’s ownership.

Please enjoye François superb work!
